Flowcode Charges $60/Month for a Logo QR Code. This One's $10. Once.

Flowcode is a well-built product. The QR codes are clean, the dashboard is polished, and the brand is recognizable enough that it shows up in pitch decks. None of that is the issue.

The issue is $60/month for the plan that includes branded QR codes with your logo. That's $720/year for what is, at its core, a redirect with an image in the center.

If you're running a marketing team and need custom domains, team seats, advanced analytics, and white-label exports, Flowcode might be worth it. If you're a small business, a freelancer, or anyone who just wants their logo on a QR code, you're paying for a building when you needed a room.

What Flowcode Actually Charges

Flowcode's current plan structure:

Free tier: Basic QR codes, no custom logo, limited scans, Flowcode branding on the code.

Pro: ~$60/month — The tier where logo embeds and branded QR codes become available. Includes analytics, dynamic codes, and some customization. This is where most people who want a logo QR code land.

Team and Enterprise: Higher still. Built for agencies and large organizations managing hundreds of codes across multiple brands.

The pattern is the same as every QR code platform: they bundle the feature you actually want — the logo — into a plan priced for teams. You pay for the whole stack whether you use it or not.

What "Logo Embed" Actually Is

A logo-embedded QR code is a standard QR code with your image composited into the center. It works because QR codes are built with error correction — the spec allows up to 30% of the code to be obscured and it will still scan correctly. At the H error correction level, a logo taking up roughly 20% of the code area is invisible to the scanner.

It's a well-understood technique. Every major QR library supports it. The code still scans. The logo is just a design element layered on top.

The computation involved is negligible. You upload an image, it gets placed in the center, the file gets stored. That's the feature.

The Math

Flowcode ProTwoDollarQR
Dynamic QR code$60/month$20/year
Logo embedIncluded in Pro$10 one-time
Year 1 total$720$30
Year 2 total$720$20
Year 3 total$720$20

After three years, you've spent $2,160 on Flowcode. You've spent $70 on TwoDollarQR — $30 the first year, $20 each year after.

The QR code still scans. The logo is still in the center. The analytics still work. The redirect still updates instantly when you change the destination URL.

What You Don't Get

To be direct: TwoDollarQR is not Flowcode. It doesn't have:

If you need those things, you need a platform priced for those things. Flowcode, Bitly, or QR Tiger would all be reasonable options.

If you don't need those things — if you need a QR code that scans, tracks, can be updated, and has your logo in it — you don't need to pay $720/year.

How the Logo Works on TwoDollarQR

When you create a QR code, there's a checkbox at checkout: Add logo embed — +$10 one-time. Check it, pay $30 total, land on your QR code detail page. Upload box is already open. Drop your PNG, JPEG, SVG, or WebP (max 2MB). Logo renders in the center. Done.

If you already have a code and want to add the logo later, there's an "Add Logo — $10" button on the code's detail page. Same flow.

The logo sticks to that code permanently. No subscription to maintain it. No renewal. It's yours.
