1. What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers). When someone scans a QR code you created, we log the scan timestamp, approximate location (country/region derived from IP), and device type. We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from your scanners.
2. How We Use It
We use your email to send account-related communications such as receipts, renewal notices, and password resets. We use scan data to populate your analytics dashboard. We do not sell your account or scan data to third parties.
3. Cookies and Advertising
We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics technologies to understand how the site is used. We may also use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on visits to this and other websites where permitted by law and your consent choices. You can manage ad personalization through Google's advertising settings and, where required, through consent controls shown on the site.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data and scan history for the duration of your subscription. Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export it. QR code redirect records are deleted at the same time.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for database hosting, Google Analytics for site analytics, Microsoft Clarity for product analytics, and may use Google AdSense for advertising. These providers process information under their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.
6. Your Rights
You may request a copy of your data or deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@twodollarqr.com. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights relating to cookies, personalized advertising, or other processing of personal information.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you by email if changes are material. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
