1. What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers). When someone scans a QR code you created, we log the scan timestamp, approximate location (country/region derived from IP), and device type. We do not collect personally identifiable information from your scanners.
2. How We Use It
We use your email to send account-related communications (receipts, renewal notices, password resets). We use scan data to populate your analytics dashboard. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use scan data for advertising.
3. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party services we use (Stripe, Supabase) may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data and scan history for the duration of your subscription. Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export it. QR code redirect records are deleted at the same time.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing and Supabase for database hosting. These services process data under their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
6. Your Rights
You may request a copy of your data or deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@twodollarqr.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you by email if changes are material. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
