Terms of Service

1. Service Description

TwoDollarQR provides dynamic QR code creation and scan analytics. When you create a QR code, we provide a short redirect URL that forwards scanners to a destination URL you control. You may update the destination at any time from your dashboard.

2. Pricing and Billing

TwoDollarQR offers annual QR plans: 1 dynamic QR for $20/year, 5 for $49/year, 10 for $99/year, or a 50-code high-volume plan for $299/year. Pricing is subject to change. Any price change applies only to a future renewal, and we will provide advance notice of material price changes by email.

Plans renew annually unless canceled. Each active plan includes editable destinations, scan analytics, and unlimited scans during the paid term.

3. All Sales Are Final

All purchases are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, or credits for unused time. If you cancel, your QR codes will continue to redirect through the end of your current billing period. After that, redirects will stop and codes will return an inactive notice.

If you have a billing error or were charged incorrectly, contact us at hello@twodollarqr.com within 30 days of the charge.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges. Your codes remain active through the end of your paid period. We do not charge cancellation fees.

5. Support

We provide support on a best-effort basis via email at hello@twodollarqr.com. We do not offer guaranteed response times, SLAs, or dedicated support channels. TwoDollarQR is a low-cost service and our pricing reflects that — we handle support as capacity allows.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use TwoDollarQR to distribute malware, conduct phishing, link to illegal content, spam, or violate any applicable laws. We reserve the right to disable codes or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

7. Uptime and Availability

We aim to keep redirects fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uptime or offer SLA credits. QR code redirects depend on our infrastructure and third-party services. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

TwoDollarQR is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Public QR Games and Bidding

TwoDollarQR may offer public QR experiments where verified companies can pay to control the destination of a shared QR code. Participation buys temporary control of the applicable QR destination, not ownership of the QR code, guaranteed traffic, impressions, clicks, conversions, or any endorsement by TwoDollarQR.

Company verification confirms control of an email address associated with the submitted company domain. It is not an endorsement of the company. Public QR destinations are limited to eligible verified company homepages and remain subject to automated safety checks, acceptable-use rules, and removal at our discretion.

If another eligible bid supersedes yours before checkout fulfillment completes, the QR destination will not change and the applicable payment will be refunded. Today's QR resets each day based on Central Time. We may pause, reset, disable, or end a public QR game when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service integrity.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance.
